Bio
Jason Jordan comes from a home where music was center-stage. His father Robert Jordan was a choir director, and his mother Amanda a dance instructor. At age three, Jason was already singing and showing music interest, interrupting rehearsals at his father’s school to sing his version of the music.
Jason’s musical career started at age five, when he began studying piano at Texas Christian University. Over the next twelve years he received several awards in piano, including 1st place for the Fort Worth Piano Competition and 3rd place for the Dallas Piano Competition. Jason began singing in the Texas Boys Choir at age seven and traveled the globe performing for six years as one of the soloists in the choir. He began writing compositions at age eight that gained over 15 first place awards in the span of nine years. He then attended the School of Music at Texas Tech University studying Vocal Performance, Piano Performance, and Music Composition. He decided to broaden his horizons after a few years to study Music Synthesis at Berklee School of Music in Boston.
In the spring of 2003 Jason joined forces with Sonic Implants, eventually becoming a Senior Sound Designer. Over the last five years he has made his way into the film industry, writing music and doing sound design for over ten films. Several of these won awards and were screened at independent film festivals. Jason has the ability to visually and aurally understand a film, which makes him a pleasure to work with.
